Description

The story of KLM Teman starts in the southern part of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, where she was handcrafted by local shipwrights and launched in June of 2017. During the construction, a rich variety of wood types were carefully selected and dried. Teak and iron wood; Ulin, Nona-lara and Merbau, were combined and placed in a way that would make the most out of the different characters, textures and strengths of each wood. This phinisi schooner was designed to explore the Indonesian archipelago in comfort and style.
With 5 spacious and comfortable cabins, Teman can host up to 12 guests on board. She sails seasonally between Raja Ampat, Komodo and Maluku Islands. Trips to areas like Triton Bay, Halmahera and beyond can also be planned upon request. Specializing in scuba diving and adventure cruises, Teman and her crew look forward to welcoming you on board and sharing with you the gems they have discovered during their 20 years of experience sailing across Indonesia.
